]]> http://www.greenarchdesign.com/2008/03/17/get-to-know-anthony-coppedge-media-consultant/feed/ 0 ***Disciple by Laura Jimmerson*** http://www.greenarchdesign.com/2007/08/21/disciple-by-laura-jimmerson/ http://www.greenarchdesign.com/2007/08/21/disciple-by-laura-jimmerson/#comments Tue, 21 Aug 2007 15:40:36 +0000 WebStaff http://www.greenarchdesign.com/2007/08/21/disciple-by-laura-jimmerson/ I went to the Disciple concert at Redemption World Outreach Center Church here in Greenville, SC.  I have been to quite a few Christian concerts, but this one blew me away.  The band Disciple is known for its heavy metal sound and head banging music.  Though the concert was amazing and the music was great, the vocalist, Kevin Young, lead the crowd in prayer and a Bible study.  He made sure they knew that this was not about the band Disciple but about Jesus Christ.  Then the band finished and left the stage.  The crowd liked them so much that they chanted “bring them back” until the band was brought back on stage to sing one more song.

This is one band you really need to check out.  Good Christian music with a heavy metal sound.
